What are you building, and who benefits most from it?

At Finiite, we offer a cloud-based API that helps online retail stores to increase their sales conversion rate. Our deep learning personalization software instantly recommends brand products to customers based on skin type and images.

What is one of your startup’s most impressive accomplishments?

We’re seeing rapid advancement in AI adoption with the introduction of Open AI’s GPT and Google’s Bard. Invariably, like many others, the retail industry will be affected, and it is already being transformed by this. The technologies adopted now will shape the next decade and beyond. At Finiite, we’re building tech to enable this transformation.

What has been the biggest challenge so far, and how did you overcome it?

It’s been figuring out our business model. While we started with a D2C iOS and Android app, we noticed we needed to build a product that could be scaled and used by any retailer or brand. So, we pivoted by launching B2B custom APIs that allow retailers to integrate our service with their existing customer database, CRM, and eCommerce platforms; make it easy to onboard for a business of any size; and offer modular technology and designs that make it flexible enough for any use case.

What tool or app could you not live without and why?

182 founders interviewed so far. Get interviewed in 10 minutes, via a simple form, for free.

Apollo. It helps us reach our customers and streamline our entire sales process.

What marketing strategies have worked for you?

Outbound email marketing and publishing relevant blog posts.

Can you share any financial data about your startup?

We raised a preseed note from MARL Accelerator last year to build and launch our technology. (Reported on May 12, 2023.)

What has been your biggest business failure to date? What did you learn from it?

It was not offering our product sooner. There is a gap in the B2B market that a tool like Finiite fills. However, we feel the timing of our API launch couldn’t have been more suitable given the developments in AI this year.

What’s the best specific piece of advice you have for other entrepreneurs?
