What are you building, and who benefits most from it?
Finmarie is the first women-focused investment platform in Europe created by women. Our aim is to empower women to save, invest, and insure themselves to achieve financial independence.
What is one of your startup’s most impressive accomplishments?
Finmarie has built a community of thousands of women who use our investment app and education platform to manage millions in assets.
What has been the biggest challenge so far, and how did you overcome it?
German bureaucracy and regulations are constantly evolving, and no business landscape remains static. At finmarie, we took advantage of a variety of incentive programs and public funding instruments that can be applied to a range of funding purposes.

What marketing strategies have worked for you?
One is content marketing and social media marketing, which revolve around creating valuable and informative content that engages our target audience. Another one is referral marketing.
What has been your biggest business failure to date? What did you learn from it?
Our No1 lesson as a team was to never take a client for granted and to push a sales process as much as possible.
What’s the best specific piece of advice you have for other entrepreneurs?
The first one is to stay flexible and adaptable—the business world is constantly changing, so be prepared to adjust your strategy or adapt to new trends or challenges.
Second, build a strong team and surround yourself with talented and passionate people who share your vision and complement your strengths and weaknesses.
Third, stay laser-focused on your goals, define your priorities, and remain disciplined in working towards them.
