What are you building, and who benefits most from it?
My Renovation is an app created to simplify construction or home repair for all users, no matter how much they know about it. The app supervises construction processes and helps prevent problems and costs associated with inefficient construction management. We offer an automatically generated to-do list, notes, a shopping list, a cost summary, and a list of completed works.
What is one of your startup’s most impressive accomplishments?
My Renovation is available in 176 countries in seven languages for iOs and Android smartphone users. Right now, thousands of people are making their homes better with our app.
What has been the biggest challenge so far, and how did you overcome it?
The biggest challenge for the startup and our team is getting closer to available and profitable markets. We haven’t decided yet. The most promising option seems to be to relocate the startup with the support of existing or prospective investors based on optimistic metrics from the United States, Asia, and Europe.
What tool or app could you not live without and why?

Aside from the routine development tools, our team uses various software for text and video communication. We are very mobile; we move around a lot, travel a lot, and live in different countries for a long time. It is important for us to communicate effectively with other team members, investors, and users, even when we are thousands of kilometers away from each other. It is also very important to have a good coffee machine, if you know what I mean.
What marketing strategies have worked for you?
At the moment, we are testing many marketing hypotheses for the My Renovation app in search of the optimal balance between the cost of engagement and the volume of the user channel. In any case, the most important thing is to find a market fit for the product and talk about its benefits to our audience in a targeted way.

What’s the best specific piece of advice you have for other entrepreneurs?
Don’t worry about mistakes—worry about missing time. Do your best to grow right here, right now. This allows you to focus on risks and manage them much more effectively than in a typical business.
What does your company’s trajectory look like over the next five years?
I wish we had the trajectory of a space rocket! We feel a high level of interest in My Renovation and see a rapid expansion of the construction and renovation markets around the world. Let’s try to ride the wave.
The success of the app is determined by whether home renovations are within the means of the masses. If a person’s financial situation allows them to take care of their home, our app will solve the issue of lack of construction knowledge, greatly simplify decision-making, and reduce the risk of costly mistakes.
